Cable Academic and Vocational Education Center (CAVEC) - Bristol - Girls

The Cable Academic and Vocational Education Center (CAVEC) in Bristol is a private, special education school for girls.  Currently welcoming students between the ages of 9 and 21, CJR’s new school for girls focuses on the development of requisite skills for success.  Transition to post-secondary opportunities is the ultimate goal of each student’s education plan. By statute, a private school must be successfully operational for one year prior to applying for a license as an approved private special education program. CJR anticipates receiving a CSDE license in September 2018. Once CJR receives the initial operating license, a candidacy application will be submitted to the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
