Referral and Admission

Regular, special, vocational and alternative education, as well as enhancement classes and transition and related services, are provided for boys enrolled in the Cable Academic and Vocational Education Center (CAVEC) on CJR's Litchfield campus.

Education programs at the Junior Republic serve boys with special needs as well as students with behavioral, emotional and learning difficulties, who can benefit from a highly individualized learning environment.  Students, ages 9 to 21, are served, and generally live within busing distance to CJR's Litchfield campus.

Referrals are considered at any time and evaluations and admissions occur on a year-round basis.  For more information about admissions, please contact:
