Residential Treatment | Referral and Admission
Boys who have experienced significant difficulty adjusting to life in their home communities are eligible for residential treatment at CJR. Typical problems include: rebellion against authority, interpersonal and family problems, behavioral difficulties, failure in school, and delinquency.
The Connecticut Junior Republic works with boys who will benefit from a structured and supervised group living environment in an open, rural setting. Boys must be between the ages of 12 and 16 at time of admission.
Referrals are considered at any time and evaluations and admissions occur on a year-round basis.
