Residential Treatment | Meeting Individual Needs
A Treatment Plan specifying how CJR's resources will be utilized to help each boy, is written immediately after admission. As a part of the Plan for Service, each youth establishes written goals with the help of staff and his peer group. These goals include the demonstration of social responsibility, as well as mastery of intellectual, vocational, physical and practical life management skills.
The Treatment Plan for Service is implemented by an interdisciplinary team
consisting of youth counselors, a special education teacher, a vocational education teacher, a family worker and a program supervisor. Each treatment team consults with a psychiatrist, psychologist, and medical doctor, as necessary, and works with a total of 12 boys.
