Education | Day Treatment Program
CJR provides education and related services to area students who enroll in our day treatment program. Day students enroll in the same course of study as their residential counterparts including language arts, mathematics, social studies, science (with a laboratory component), vocational education, computer technology, fine arts, health & life skills, and physical education, with modifications and accommodations as deemed appropriate by their Planning and Placement Team. Vocational courses of study include culinary arts, building design and drafting, graphic arts, power mechanics, creative arts, vocational agriculture (animal husbandry or horticulture), and wood technology.
Students who enroll in the Day Treatment Program are encouraged to fully utilize the following treatment services: peer group therapy; individual and family counseling; therapeutic recreational activities; alcohol and drug counseling; and psychiatrist on an as-needed basis.
Upon completion of our program, each student receives individual and familial support for up to six months in order to assist him in re-acclimating into the public school environment.
