Education Programs
The Cable Academic and Vocational Education Center at the Connecticut Junior Republic provides regular, special, vocational, and alternative education programs that are approved by the State Department of Education. Connecticut boys are referred from public schools and receive assistance in overcoming educational and behavioral issues. Successful transition back to the public education system or to post-secondary opportunities is the ultimate goal of each student's education plan.
